Small Talk: David Krejci Discusses His Nicknames, Favorite Animals

In this week’s edition of “Small Talk,” Boston Bruins center David Krejci answers the big questions from little kids.

1. What’s your favorite animal at the zoo?
I like to see crocodiles, alligators, lions, tigers — those big, mean animals — but my favorite animal is a dog.

2. Do you have any nicknames?
They’re kind of made from my last name. My last name is Krejci and they call me Krech or — that’s about it. I know there’s people that call me different names, but my closest friends, they call me Krech.

3. I skate and play hockey. Do you have any advice for me?
Just get a pair of skates, a stick and do your thing. Don’t think about anything, just go out there, skate, shoot, pass, have fun and everything else will come.

4. Do you have any siblings?
I do have a sibling. I have a brother. He’s a year older and no other siblings, just one brother.
