TD Bank Mini 1-On-1: Assabet Valley Wins Girls’ Squirts Bracket

Assabet Valley is your new TD Bank Mini 1-on-1 girls under 10 champion. But it didn’t come easy.

The Rhode Island Sting gave Assabet all it could handle but ultimately fell 3-2 in extra rounds.

Assabet’s Avery McInery and R.I.’s Sara DeSousa traded goals in the first round but were stonewalled by some impressive saves from both goaltenders after that. McInery finally delivered the dagger in the final round, and goalie Devon Galizio made the stop on the other end to bring home the hardware.
