Baseball Lab: Creating 3D Animation Using ‘Sprites’

Do you know how to draw a picture? Then you know how to create animation!

Animation is simply a collection of many stationary images shown so quickly that your eyes perceive them as one continuous movement. In digital animation, these individual images are known as sprites.

Ilir Mborja, a professor at Clark University’s Becker School of Design, welcomed in the “NESN Clubhouse” crew to give them a sneak peak on how sprites are used to create animation.
